  • Chad was born and raised in Vermillion, South Dakota where he began his hospitality career working in several restaurants and bars. Chad has more than 30 years in the Food & Beverage industry with vast experience in restaurant management, staff training and restaurant openings.
  • Chad had spent 12 years working for WR Hospitality which manages local brands like Minervas and Kahills. Chad started at WR Hospitality in 2002 opening the newly constructed Minervas Grill & Bar in Yankton, South Dakota as the Executive Chef and working there until 2006 when he moved to open the newly constructed Minervas Food & Cocktails here in Sioux City and was the Executive Chef there until January of 2009 when he was promoted to the Regional Corporate Chef for WR Hospitality working closely with restaurant managers and staff on day to day operations in 15 locations.
  • Chad then went to work at The Country Club of Sioux Falls in 2014 as the Food & Beverage Director and helped them make the transition into a newly constructed clubhouse spending time with member services and day to day operations until 2016. Chad accepted a Corporate Chef Position with Vanguard Hospitality which owns several restaurants in Sioux Falls, SD where he spent 3 years managing the culinary departments. Chad’s previous experience includes menu building, feature promotions, team building, culinary development, coordinating and leading special events.
  • Chad currently resides in southwest Sioux Falls with his wife Amy who works remotely for an Austin, Texas based company Open Symmetry.When Chad isn’t in the clubhouse he enjoys spending time with his wife and watching sports most notably cheering on his favorite teams the Irish of Notre Dame and the Oakland Raiders.
